MEET THE COMPANY
A native of Parsippany, New Jersey, earned a BA in Dance Education from Montclair State University in 2021 and completed BFA credits in Dance Performance in 2020. He has performed works by renowned choreographers, including Martha Graham, Alwin Nikolais, and Camille A. Brown, appearing at venues such as The Joyce Theater and Jazz at Lincoln Center. He has danced with Norwegian Cruise Line and Walt Disney World, and performed in multiple Nutcrackers as far as Alaska. He currently teaches ballet at Montclair State University while performing with Freespace Dance.
Alfonse Napolitano
Felix Tavarez
A Dominican dancer from Jersey City, New Jersey, earning his B.F.A. in Dance at Montclair State University. He has trained and performed work by renowned artists, including Maxine Steinman, Christian von Howard, Jessie DiMauro Marks, Donna Scro Samori, Kyle Abraham, Maleek Washington, and Ronald K. Brown. Felix began his dance training at Union City High School and has since expanded his artistry through Ballet, Horton, Nagare, and Limón techniques, bringing dynamic movement and rich storytelling to the stage.
A Montclair/NYC dancer, choreographer, dance educator, and fitness trainer. She graduated from Temple University in 2022 with a BFA in dance and, since then, has been dancing with Freespace Dance. In addition to her technical training in dance, Emma has continued her education by receiving certifications in pilates, spin, and various other fitness modalities. Emma has been teaching both dance and fitness since 2022.
EMMA GENTILE
Juliet Goswell
A Montclair native, grew up moving and challenging her body. She began in competitive gymnastics, which she translated into dance by combining her understanding of the body in space and motion with intensive dance training at Peridance, DanceWorks Studios, and Montclair High School. Juliet attended James Madison University, where she received a dance/academic scholarship and showcased her choreography and dance in New Voices in Dance. She graduated with honors with a BA double major in dance and advocacy. Since graduating, Juliet has continued her training at Peridance and with Freespace Dance and Urban Tribe. She has been a Freespace member since 2017.
Kierstyn Edore
Graduated from Montclair State University with her B.F.A. in Dance and a Minor in Psychology. She is the director of Opus//The Company (2025) and codirector of preprofessional company The Ady Project. Kierstyn currently dances with Freespace Dance and Puluka Projects, and has performed at DUMBO Dance Festival, Whitewave Solo/Duo Dance Festival, APAP, Koresh Artist Showcase, NJPAC, Nimbus Emerging Choreographers, Montclair Art Museum, and American College Dance Association Showcase.
Laura Aglione
A NYC-based performer who recently received her BFA in Dance from Montclair State University in 2025. During her time at Montclair, she had the privilege to perform in works by Roderick George, Leslie Kraus, Cameron McKinney, Andre Tyson, and Maxine Steinman. Outside of Montclair, she has performed in works by Keerati Jinakunwiphat, Mark Caserta, Fredrick Earl Mosely, and Zoje Azeke, among others. In addition to being an Administrative Assistant and Social Media Coordinator for Freespace Dance, she danced with the company in their fall season, and is excited to perform with them again this spring!
LIndsey Garnhart
A dance artist who holds a BFA in Dance from Temple University. She is currently a member of Freespace Dance Company and performs as a freelance artist. Her work has been presented at Astoria Dance Festival and The Secret Theater. Lindsey is the resident choreographer at Deerfield School. For the past six years, she has been teaching dance at several studios in the tristate area. She loves being onstage with Freespace!
